Imliwati is the club professional and is playing his first season for Rainhill. He has played first class cricket for Nagaland in India, for whom he took eight wickets (including 7-25 in the first innings) and made a half-century in a win over Manipur in 2019.

Imliwati is only the second Naga to play professional cricket abroad. His first half-century for Rainhill came against Chorley in national cup competition with his best bowling for the club being 6-59 at Ormskirk.
