A Christmas message from RCC

And so Christmas is almost here and another year draws to an end. For us at Rainhill Cricket Club it is an opportunity to look back over an eventful year – one that marked our 150th anniversary – and look forward to the next with hope and optimism.

It was a year of mixed results for Rainhill, but there was a terrific sense of community and that’s not only because of the successful anniversary gala in August. The development of the women’s and junior sections has given us plenty to be excited about and there are ambitious plans to move the club forward on several levels in the coming months. Rainhill CC is growing and developing in ways that may have seemed unimaginable a few years ago.

The club committee would like to thank everyone associated with Rainhill CC – whether players, coaches, supporters or sponsors – for being there with us during an eventful but challenging year. We with you all a Merry Christmas, a prosperous new year and a successful 2022 season!
