Anniversary Gala raises £2400

The gala to mark Rainhill Cricket Club's 150th anniversary was a terrific success, bringing hundreds of people to Victoria Terrace for a day of cricket, fun, food and sunshine.

The club is now able to confirm that the community event raised £2,400 for the club, which will be ringfenced and added to the funds to acquire a new scorebox.

The amount raised for the scorebox fund exceeded expectations and Rainhill CC would like to thank everyone who made this possible, including Rainhill Rocks, the Blue Mango, the various stallholders and of course all those who attended on the day.
