Could you help Rainhill Cricket Club?
Rainhill Cricket Club is seeking to appoint two new people, with specific responsibilities, to its committee.
The club is very much aware of the need for a motivated individual to serve as a commercial and fundraising manager. This role will involve co-ordinating commercial and sponsorship activity, providing a link between the club and local businesses, and working with the committee/communications team to explore new opportunities.
The club is also determined to ensure that we are inclsuive and diverse, and to this end we would like to recruit an inclusion and diversity officer to guide the committee in inclusion and diversity matters and to help evaluate what progress is being made.
Please note that we are looking for people who are happy to take a lead on these matters but, as members of the committee, will be working in collaboration with other committee members to achieve their goals. The committee will fully support individuals to carry out their roles.
We are also looking to create new opportunities for people who would like to be part of the communications team. In recent seasons our communcations officer has taken on full responsiblity for all aspects of communications, but it is felt that with a growing number of teams it is becoming difficult for one individual to maintain the current high standards and levels of service. It is hoped to develop a team of people with collective responsibility for maintaining the website, compiling match reports, taking photographs, maintaining social media, graphic design and video production.
We would like to hear from anyone who has an interest in joining this team. This is not a committee-related role and team members will be able to give as much or as little time as they like.
