RCC unveils new picket fence
The club would like to thank sponsors for their generous support

Rainhill Cricket Club has this weekend unveiled its new picket fence, which surrounds the clubhouse and adjoining patio area.
The eye-catching fence, in an aesthetically pleasing crisp white, has already received positive feedback from players and the club is confident that it will be a hit with the wider community. One person has commented that "it's brilliant - it looks like a proper pavilion now". A former player added that the ground is "looking better than I have ever seen it - well done to all involved!"
The picket fence is the latest in a series of ground improvements that have taken place in recent months, and in a sense is another piece of the jigsaw. The club would like to thank the ground sponsors - Hogans Solicitors, Black Swan Tax, Jack's Best One, Performance Mind, Well Polished, Karanda Solutions, Dys-appear, Coeus Insurance Management, Every Shot Counts, the Blue Mango Restaurant and Huyton & Prescot Golf Club - for their generous support, which has allowed the club to make the necessary investment.
The fence was installed by Peter Rotheram with some help from club captain Mike Rotheram and chairman John Rotheram. Rainhill Cricket Club is grateful to them for the efforts and is sure the fence will be appreciated by all those involved with the club - and, indeed, visiting teams.
