Paul Ford

Paul is a talented batsman who came to Rainhill as a teenager and made his 1st team debut in 1994. In 1995 he played for South West Lancashire in a final at Old Trafford and, a year later, was named Merseyside Competition Young Player of the Year. Paul has racked up over 6,600 runs for Rainhill, with his highest score of 158 not out coming in national cup competition against Degham Hibbert. This remains a club record. Paul was appointed 1st team captain for the 2023 season - his third stint as captain.
